Enjoy a full day bird watching the Port Douglas local area, moving from the coast to the higher altitudes of Julatten and/or Mt Lewis. We search for some of the 430 species of birds found in the Wet Tropics and Cairns region, 12 of which are endemic to the area. Alternatively or as a second day we visit the dry savannah area between Mareeba and north of Mt Carbine.
