Enjoy a full day bird watching the Port Douglas local area, moving from the coast to the higher altitudes of Julatten and/or Mt Lewis. We search for some of the 430 species of birds found in the Wet Tropics and Cairns region, 12 of which are endemic to the area. Alternatively or as a second day we visit the dry savannah area between Mareeba and north of Mt Carbine.

Enjoy a full day birding the Cairns area. We visit local wetlands, conservation areas, parks, mangrove boardwalks and include wader spotting at the Esplanade. Your guides local knowledge comes to the fore as he knows where to find the birds.
