Enjoy a full day bird watching the Port Douglas local area, moving from the coast to the higher altitudes of Julatten and Mt Lewis or the Mt Carbine area. We search for some of the 430 species of birds found in the Wet Tropics and Cairns region, 12 of which are endemic to the area. Alternatively or as a second day we visit the dry savannah area between Mareeba and north to Mt Carbine.
